1984 Chevrolet S-10 Extended Cab

Don't understand how the tires are so clean (looking).

1979 Chevrolet Corvette + 1973 Ford Ranger Super Camper Special

As promised, the other two vehicles of interest visible in the background of the previous post. All in all a remarkable find.

The Corvette looks great, its just that it tries too hard. Earlier generations of the 'Vette never needed front and rear spoilers to look amazing. This is more like marketing than engineering. Of the three, this vehicle seems closest to roadworthy.

Love the Ford's cockeyed headlight, oddly wide rear tires, earnest look, plus the all important fuzzy dice. And how can you not like a vehicle that calls itself "super". There will be more super vehicles here.

Once again, working in a cramped space, so profile shots are nearly impossible. Also I ran up against the 200 character tag limit on this post.

1968 Chevrolet Corvair 500

As promised, the mystery car parked behind the Ford Econoline in the previous post.

Chatted with the owner -- says the "500" was the base model. He flipped up the front chrome latch with the unique Chevy badge on it to expose the lock for the front trunk. The Corvair was such a unique car for GM, not what you think of when you think 60s Chev.

It's that design and shape. Compared to other modestly priced cars of the era, it had a sleek look, all sloping and curving surfaces. Those tough looking wheels don't hurt either. The only off note is the rear end, which is a bit too long, has a bit too much overhang.

1976 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe 20

Still working after 40 years. Looks like it's been painted a few times, just one dog dish left, but those 8 lug steel wheels are still hanging in.

1983 Chevrolet S-10 Longbox

Clearly still a work truck. Great original hubcaps. Red is such a great colour, it fades so well.

A wolf at each door!

1955 Chevrolet Pickup

Mostly interesting for the shapes: the grill, the hood, all that fender metal, the slight overhang above the windshield. Those wheels look like Cragars.
