My first car! I owned a '78 green Skylark, bought it with 25K miles and drove it for 4 years through college. Was burning oil horribly towards the end of its life (around 85K miles). Had the 231cc V6 engine.

I believe this one is a daily driver , as yours was. But it's been 5 years since I took the pictures, so it may be in that great junkyard in the sky by now.

I had a beige 1978 with landau roof. I replaced the 231 engine with a 430buick with a turbo 400 transmission from a 1969 Electra 225. It was faster than 1980s mustangs.
