1979 Dodge "Li'l Red Express"

I feel compelled to state that the only way I could be associated with a vehicle like this would be if I was run over by one. This is a classic example of marketing over practicality, of which there are so many examples it surprises that an auto industry still exists.

And yet they sold in the thousands. So what do I know.

My apologies for the infrequent posts. Hopefully the regular schedule can resume soon. Thank you for your patience.

1987 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country Wagon

1989 Jeep Wagoneer Limited

What really draws my attention is the striking resemblance to the mid 60s AMC Ambassador. It's the stacked chrome headlight surround, and that strong horizontal bar across the grille.

That groovy fake wood-grain is a great feature.
