A Collection of Renault 8 Gordinis, 1968-1970

So in the previous post we saw a really great Fiat 500. Now we see the real passion of the fine gentleman I spoke to.

He used to (maybe still does!) campaign Renault 8 Gordinis locally, down in Washington State, and probably elsewhere. First up, a beautiful 1968 example, which is in just as fine a shape as the Fiat. The next looks to be a 1970, though I may be mistaken. I was a little constrained in taking these pictures, so there are only a few of the final Gordini.

The owner was very patient with my desire to get pictures, and I thank him for his kindness.

Revisited: 1968 Jaguar E-Type

So I finally was able to re-photograph a car first seen on this blog almost 5 years ago. At that time it was far from complete. Now it looks pretty great. It still has the same orange stickers on the wheels. In chatting with the owner he informed me that 1968 was a transition year for the E-Type, referred to as "Series 1½". For example some cars had the exposed sealed beams, others like this one had headlights under glass covers.
