I wish other countries had a website that showed all of their classic cars parked on the streets? It would be cool to see what China has or Japan , I wonder what Mexico has parked on their streets also?
Well I think the US in particular, and Canada by contagion, has (had?) a very strong car culture, something I grew up in. As I understand it, in Japan, the law is such that you can't really drive an old car, and they exist only in museums. Car culture there is all about the shiny new.
There are lots of people who have no interest in cars except as way to get around. That's OK -- courses for horses as the Brits say.
