I did the V8 conversion in 2008/2009.
@Unknown: It looks like it's still in great shape. And probably gets to see the street on a regular basis.
Of course a V8 in an Astre is a delightful contradiction, Astres and Vegas having developed such a bad reputation. Which makes it all the more attractive.
