About a year ago this car and another were struck by a large tree blown over in a windstorm. This tree knocked out power to the neighbourhood, blocked a whole street and totaled the other car. The Corolla had a broken rear window and a few dents, as you see here.
Love in particular the pattern of chipping on the left front wheel, the rust bubbling under the paint,the fading of the black (now grey) plastic spoiler & trim.
I had this memory of this car as somehow be lower, or sleeker. Wasn't it lower? Naw, it was always like this -- it just looks sort of fat in my 2014 eyes, not my 1986 eyes.
