1969 Fargo Sportsman Van (A108)

Didn't we see an somewhat similar vehicle in exactly the same place a while back?

This one was a pop top camper conversion until those camping innards were removed. It is now a delivery/work vehicle for a local business.

1969 Citroën DS21

A remarkable car which I'd been hoping to find parked for a while.

Of note
- The massive single spoke of the eroded chrome steering wheel visible through dirt on the window in #5, as well as the unusual positioning of the semi-automatic transmission lever, in #5 & #6.
- Ribbed aluminum in the C pillar (also in the skinny B pillar) supporting the curious elevated rear turn indicators
- Beautiful aerodynamic shape, accentuated by it's lowered body when parked. So far ahead of it's time.
- That emblematic shape of the headlight glass -- unlike any of it's contemporaries.

1969 AMC Javelin SST

From look of the extra gauges and transmission, this looks like a modified vehicle, but it's all kept subtle, so that the car looks stock.

Love the crosshairs in the right side of the deeply set grille, black on white on black original gauges, excellent choice of wheels. Wood on the steering wheel is real, dash is fake.

1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Not sure if it is uneven paint or uneven dirt that makes the left fenders so much lighter in colour. But the tires seem perfectly clean. Love the script used for the badge, and the way the rust/mould has surrounded and obscured it. Plus that profile -- very sporty for what amounts to a mid-sized, mid priced sedan.

1969 Ford LTD XL

Almost don't know where to begin. First off, this is fine example of wide, long and macho, with those continuous lines from front to back and flying wings around the rear window. Pictures can't really convey the awesome presence of this old beast. Next that colour -- it's radioactive in this dull grey light. Those over the top wheels and tires. Too much!

Overall, it's grand, regal, absurd, and delightful.
