Revisited: 1968 Jaguar E-Type
first seen on this blog almost 5 years ago. At that time it was far from complete. Now it looks pretty great. It still has the same orange stickers on the wheels. In chatting with the owner he informed me that 1968 was a transition year for the E-Type, referred to as "Series 1½". For example some cars had the exposed sealed beams, others like this one had headlights under glass covers.
So I finally was able to re-photograph a car

1975 MG MGB
Appears to have been parked where it is for some time, and cleared of debris occasionally. Sad about the damage, but of course that's makes it more interesting.
The shape of that heavy front bumper actually works well in preserving the profile and sporty looks. The rear bumper is good too. That sloping front profile is so classic, and over all the car really was designed beautifully.

1968 Jaguar E-Type
This ghost Jag appeared out of nowhere and disappeared just as quickly. I saw it one afternoon, took these few shots with my phone, and it was gone an hour or two later.
Wheels and tires look brand new. Orange sticker says "IMPORTANT: TO BE REMOVED ONLY BY FINAL CONSUMER"
