1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne 20 Custom Camper

Fenders are new and thus missing the "Cheyenne" badge. The GMC tailgate was added as a matter of expediency over authenticity. The owner says that this truck is still in use, often transporting volleyball equipment.

Ian's Two Chevys: 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible + 1965 Chevrolet Sportvan Deluxe

I saw this great car, took pictures, then the owner came out and we had a chance to talk. He is justifiable proud of his 'Vette, but also excited about his latest acquisition, and invited me around back to see it: Unfortunately I could not get most of the shots I normally want. The bench seat was a separate purchase. Amazing to think that both of these vehicles were designed by the same company and produced in the same year. Love the tiny windows behind the front doors. And oh that flat windshield!

I ran into the tag limit again on this post.

1980 Chevrolet Corvette

The owner says that he has had the original anemic engine replaced with a more modern and powerful V8, plus assorted restoration.

I have to admit that despite my ... umm ... distaste ... for Corvettes of the late 70s / early 80s, I enjoyed seeing and taking pictures of this car. There are lots of interesting shapes which can be extracted from it, and the red is really Red. It almost made me revive the "guilty pleasure" tag.

1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon

I always thought the grille on the '75 model year was a little more elegant -- the verticals thinner and more closely spaced, so that they blend into each other from a distance.
